In this session, we will explore a cutting-edge Demand Forecasting solution designed to integrate seamlessly with JD Edwards (JDE) and modern technology platforms. The presentation will cover how data from JDE is extracted into a cloud data lake, where it is enriched with third-party information such as federal interest rates, inflation rates, unemployment figures, weather data, and industry-specific trends. Using current best-in-class machine learning (ML) models, this enriched dataset is transformed into accurate and actionable forecasts. We will then demonstrate how these forecasts are consumed in Microsoft Power Apps via an interactive user interface, enabling users to approve, adjust, and insert data into the forecast. Finally, attendees will learn how forecasts are inserted back into JDE via JDE Orchestrator for MRP optimization, while Power BI provides dynamic reporting for comparing forecasts against actual sales.
