PeopleSoft’s main strength lies in its ability to be customized as per an organization’s requirement , but it also often increases the overall complexity of upgrades and migrations, which results in higher costs and extended timelines. PeopleSoft tools such as Page Field Configurator, Event Mapping, Application Engine Plug-ins, Page Composer, and Drop Zones are designed to minimize or eliminate the need for traditional customizations, thereby, streamlining maintenance and upgrades. By utilizing these tools, organizations can customize PeopleSoft to their specific requirements with little to no custom coding, making future upgrades more straightforward and reducing the long-term costs associated with maintaining customizations.
