Let’s talk about BI Publisher skills with PeopleTools.
In this session we’ll see how to create Excel templates, use check boxes in our RFT templates, merge documents, add watermarks as well as creating structured XML files with PeopoleCode. We’ll also show how to initiate a BI Publisher report from a PeopleSoft page using data from that component instead of interrupting our user’s workflow to navigate to a separate run control pages.
We’ll cover as many techniques in a live code demonstration as time allows.
BI Publisher is a vital part of your PeopleSoft toolbox. Yes, Kibana gets all the hype. But an integrated report generator leveraging PeopleSoft data, architecture and security is still needed.
