PeopleTools Component Search uses a component’s properties i.e. search record for SQL based search, Search Definition for Keyword Search and Pivot Grid for Pivot Grid search. In this session we are going to talk about PeopleSoft Search Framework. The PeopleTools Configurable Search Frameworks offers tools for the customer to customize component search with minimal effort through configuration. The session will also talk about the new UI for both Classic and Fluid component search pages. These new pages will be used for all search-enabled components except components which are currently using Pivot Grid Search. And the session will cover the new configuration page to modify delivered search configuration [search record/definitions properties and some additional configurations for search page].
