PeopleSoft has always been a great transactional system, but the embedded reporting capabilities have typically fallen short in function, performance, visualization, and/or usability. With Kibana, hear how a customer now has a user-friendly option for analytical reporting and interactive dashboards within PeopleSoft. “The Road to Kibana” will take the audience on a journey from identifying a reporting need to building content then concluding with a dashboard that SpearMC has built to support our customers.

Join this session to hear real-life examples of how customers like Memorial Hospital, Temple University and Parkview Health are leveraging Kibana. We will also cover two use cases that showcases tangible benefits to attendees. The purpose of this presentation is to educate PeopleSoft customers with the data visualization, dashboarding, and analytical capabilities now available with Kibana and PeopleTools 8.60. Specific focus for this session will cover the seamless migration from “Elastic/Kibana” to “OpenSearch/Dashboards”. The presenter is part of the Early Adopter Program for Kibana and OpenSearch. You will walk away with everything you need to know to migrate to the new Open Source standard. We will cover Oracle’s messaging that “Kibana is not going away”…in fact “the new search and reporting tool” is simply the same code line as Elastic and Kibana, and any effort put into Elastic/Kibana will translate and migrate seamlessly to OpenSearch/Dashboards.
