The Extensibility Awakens: Introducing Possibilities of The E1 Force

Our journey begins with the introduction and adoption of JDE extensibility to an organization well versed in traditional E1 utilization but had not yet explored this new world. We will use this session to explore practical and intermediate-level solutions that complement our traditional E1 development, with a modern solution architecture, balancing agility, governance, and user experience. We will journey through several use cases to demonstrate how our team integrated form and logic extensibility into our toolset to:
1. Send notifications when new companies are setup
2. Dynamically hide and show form controls
3. Capturing field-level changes (before-and-after values) as an audit control
4. Enable singular field updates within a new business process

Whether you’re just beginning your own extensibility journey or looking to refine your approach, this session will be designed to provide practical real-world use cases that can provide an awakening to possibilities enabled within the JDE extensibility framework. We will detail our solutions and lessons learned for how we are starting to unlock the full potential of JDE E1’s extensibility framework—without going to the dark side.
