Ilynx was hired by a customer to modernize their Physical Inventory process. The objective was to utilize the latest cutting edge technologies and solve the following issues.
-Poor UI experience for Inventory Clerks
-Data integrity issues due to manual file movements/data manipulations
-Reliance on custom 3rd party software solutions
-Process inefficiencies – paper-based processes
-Unsupported systems
-Difficulty with audit traceability for transactions
Ilynx implemented PeopleSoft Fluid Physical Inventory and coupled it with best in class scanning equipment to create a streamlined solution that solved the current problems. The project was a huge success and not only transformed the Asset tracking process but also marked the agency’s first step into using PeopleSoft fluid capabilities with mobile devices. The work required for mobile security laid the groundwork for adopting additional mobile applications.
