Oracle Cloud Products Community Survey Introduction
Our annual Cloud Community Survey was sent to users in our community to gauge where their companies were in relation to their interest and implementation of Oracle Cloud products. The survey had 939 respondents from different companies across our community.
The majority of respondents—45 percent—are from companies with 1,000 to 9,999 employees. 26 percent are from companies of 10,000 employees or more. 23 percent are from smaller companies of 100 to 999 employees and only six percent of respondents are from companies of 99 employees or less.
Respondents work in a wide variety of 26 industry classifications, with most coming from public sector (15 percent), manufacturing supply chain (eight percent), education and research (eight percent) and healthcare (seven percent).
Survey respondents were overwhelmingly from their companies’ IT departments (62 percent), with Finance (17 percent) and HR (10 percent) also popular responses. Respondents also came primarily from middle management (31 percent). A significant number classified themselves as Technical Experts (25 percent) or were in a technical/support position (12 percent). There was also a number of respondents from senior management (11 percent) and the C-suite (five percent).
