Your business processes connect Oracle to multiple custom and third-party applications. End-to-end testing is required to ensure these business processes continue working after an Oracle update. But automated end-to-end tests are notoriously flaky and difficult to maintain – and there’s simply not enough time during an update to carry out extensive end-to-end testing manually. In this webinar, we’ll show you how you can use Tricentis Tosca to create resilient, automated end-to-end tests that minimize the risk of undetected defects disrupting your most critical business workflows – without slowing down your release process.

In this session you’ll learn:

A codeless approach for automating testing for even the most complex end-to-end business workflows
How service virtualization can help you minimize testing delays when services are down or applications aren’t ready
Real-world examples of how Tosca’s model-based testing works in a complex, highly integrated Oracle environment to streamline end- to- end testing

SaaS-based analytics and/or machine learning platforms have the potential to provide millions of dollars worth of insight: but they require access to a LOT of your data. The two week implementation promised by the vendor is likely based on the simplest possible integration approach: one which almost certainly doesn't take into account your organization's security posture: compliance rules: or competing capabilities within your organization. This session will walk through one such integration between an on-premises PS and a SaaS analytics/ML platform: paying attention to these complexities.

PeopleSoft has always been a great transactional system: but the embedded reporting capabilities have typically fallen short in function: performance: visualization: and/or usability. With Kibana: hear how a customer now has a user-friendly option for analytical reporting and interactive dashboards within PeopleSoft. “The Road to Kibana” will take the audience on a journey from identifying a reporting need to building content then concluding with a dashboard that SpearMC has built to support our customers. Join this session to hear real-life examples of how customers like Memorial Hospital: Temple University and Parkview Health are leveraging Kibana. We will also cover two use cases that showcases tangible benefits to attendees. The purpose of this presentation is to educate PeopleSoft customers with the data visualization: dashboarding: and analytical capabilities now available with Kibana and PeopleTools 8.60. Specific focus for this session will cover the seamless migration from Elastic/Kibana to OpenSearch/Dashboards. The presenter is part of the Early Adopter Program for Kibana and OpenSearch. You will walk away with everything you need to know to migrate to the new Open Source standard. We will cover Oracle's messaging that “Kibana is not going away”...in fact “the new search and reporting tool” is simply the same code line as Elastic and Kibana: and any effort put into Elastic/Kibana will translate and migrate seamlessly to OpenSearch/Dashboards.*This session is CPE Eligible.

Managing day to day operations in an ERP system can be challenging in its own right: but trying to keep up with the implementation of three new work management systems: a new business unit: an upgrade to an auxiliary financial management system: your own PUM & PeopleTools Upgrade: AND day to day operations in the same year is exhausting. In my session: I’ll be discussing how we managed to juggle all of that work across a handful of environments in order to hit multiple go-live dates across six months while also supporting production. I’ll start by reviewing our timelines and the conflicting factors in play across these efforts: some fire drills that caused re-planning: and run through diagrams capturing our strategy. I’ll wrap things up with a discussion on how we cleaned up our environments after the go-lives and lessons learned on how we’re moving forward with a better environment strategy. I also expect that I'd sprinkle in a few general lessons learned throughout this whole process as it all took place during my first year as the manager of application development in this space.

This popular session has been updated to reflect recent enhancements to integrate PeopleSoft Expenses with Google Maps at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). HMH expanded its suite of integrated PeopleSoft products by implementing the PeopleSoft Expenses: replacing a legacy Expensibles product. Upon final rollout: up to 30:000 team members will be able to create pre-travel authorizations: enter expense reports: and submit/approve via mobile devices. HMH implemented native mobile functionality designed specifically for its expense capture and approval demands. Written in pure Fluid architecture: PeopleSoft allows easy configuration of mobile content: with an extensible framework to accommodate unique processes and configurations. Working tightly with systems integrator SpearMC: the solution implemented simplifies HMH expense reporting: helping team members stay on top of receipts and submit timely expense reports: while also helping accounting tighten its expense cycles. *This session is CPE Eligible.
