In 2015: Brown and Root was formed as part of a Joint Venture. As part of this partnership: our Joint Venture (JV) partner made the strategic decision to revive an archived and outdated version of JDE 8.0: which was no longer supported. Our team was entrusted with the crucial task of not only stabilizing this environment but also upgrading it to JDE 9.2. This extensive process took several years to complete: with the upgrade being finalized in January 2021. The deliberate strategic choices made during this journey: including the minimization of changes and the elimination of customizations: have been pivotal in our ability to consistently execute a code current project each year over the past several years.

Prior to the introduction of the Outbound Inventory Module JDE customers had a cumbersome or custom process to manage VMI and Consigned inventory. Learn how Penn Engineering utilizes the Outbound Inventory Module: orchestrations and UXOne to effectively manage replenishment and consumption inventory for some of our largest distributors. Using Orchestrations: we enhanced the level of automation offered with the module making this solution a marketing tool for new customer onboarding. Taking advantage of several UXOne components provides sales and customer service with the detailed views they need for inquiries and support. During this presentation we will review the process from setup to execution with a live demo of how we automate replenishment and consumption.
