This popular session has been updated to reflect recent enhancements to integrate PeopleSoft Expenses with Google Maps at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). HMH expanded its suite of integrated PeopleSoft products by implementing the PeopleSoft Expenses, replacing a legacy Expensibles product. Upon final rollout, up to 30,000 team members will be able to create pre-travel authorizations, enter expense reports, and submit/approve via mobile devices. HMH implemented native mobile functionality designed specifically for its expense capture and approval demands. Written in pure Fluid architecture, PeopleSoft allows easy configuration of mobile content, with an extensible framework to accommodate unique processes and configurations. Working tightly with systems integrator SpearMC, the solution implemented simplifies HMH expense reporting, helping team members stay on top of receipts and submit timely expense reports, while also helping accounting tighten its expense cycles.

This presentation will highlight customized tools that AdventHealth developed for Warehouse and PAR Optimization. An overview will be given as to the business need, standard processes, best practices, and lessons learned. The City of Seattle has hundreds of revenue streams with unique spending restrictions, from special-purposes taxes to bonds to grants. Ensuring appropriate tracking and usage of various "colors of money" is a challenge for the City's accounting staff. In 2018, the City deployed a new project-centric chart of accounts and began using PeopleSoft Project Costing and Funds Distribution to make it easier to assign expenses to various funding sources without forcing complex color-of-money tracking onto non-accounting staff. This session will explore lessons learned from the City's extensive use of PeopleSoft Project Costing and Funds Distribution to support complicated expense tracking requirements.

Basically a vendor return for the products received and how we can do it in PeopleSoft SCM. There are a variety of business reasons for initiating a vendor return. You may receive defective materials, too many items, items shipped in error, or items that you no longer require. When you return goods or services purchased from a vendor, you enter an RTV transaction in PeopleSoft Purchasing. Typically, this RTV transaction specifies the purchase order from which the materials were acquired; however, returns can be processed in PeopleSoft Purchasing without referencing the original purchase order if this detail is no longer available.
