RectorSeal is a U.S.-based manufacturing company known for its innovative products and solutions in the building and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industries. Founded in 1937 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, RectorSeal originally focused on chemical specialty products but has since expanded its portfolio significantly through product innovation and acquisitions.

Interface, a global flooring leader, uses JD Edwards (JDE) across regions to support finance, order-to-cash, and manufacturing. A major initiative was launched to enable seamless, two-way integration between JDE and Salesforce (SFDC), allowing customer service teams to manage sales orders entirely within SFDC in near real time.
Previously, BSSV was used for integrations with systems like SFDC, WMS, and TMS. However, BSSVs are complex, hard to maintain, and require retrofitting during upgrades.
To modernize, Interface is transitioning to JDE Orchestrator, offering a low-code, API-driven approach.
This presentation showcases these challenges and highlights the strategic shift to JDE Orchestrator—a more flexible, low-code solution. Orchestrator is expected to simplify development, improve maintainability, reduce customizations, and streamline integration via API calls—paving the way for a more scalable, responsive architecture.
