Material requirement planning has been around since the mid ‘70s when we all read Orlicky’s yellow MRP book. How come it hasn’t gotten easier? Are you asking yourselves “why do our teams continue to struggle unpacking the mystery of material planning?” Well, it’s not a surprise. Many companies struggle with their material planning process. It is simple. Maintain your MRP/DRP engine and you WILL get to the right destination. Afterall, how long has it been since you implemented material planning? What business changes have taken place since then? What new tools has JD Edwards provided to help “fine-tune” your material planning process. How can AI help? In this session you will discuss how to remove some of the mystery from material planning (MPS/MRP) and discuss some ways to unlock the potential of your supply chain.

As part of any EnterpriseOne upgrade project, customizations to applications and reports must be retrofitted after reviewing the latest code from Oracle. Intending to eliminate customizations, MASYC's approach to retrofitting versus implementing no/low code configured solutions ensures your company optimizes the newest toolset while retaining only customizations that provide strategic advantages. Our approach results in fewer customizations in your system after the upgrade, thus helping to maintain an easier upgrade path in the future and reducing overall technical debt.

We’re thrilled to include Miguel Solares from Tri Pointe Homes, who will share invaluable insights on their Release 25 upgrade!

Traditionally, this retrofit endeavor would be undertaken with the expectation that the majority of modifications would carry over, unless perhaps a new application functionality was introduced by Oracle that replaced the customization.

Jump to today with the latest no/low code tools available from Oracle, such as end-user Personalization and configurable User Defined Objects that include the Orchestrator Studio. JD Edwards clients can now replace their legacy customizations with a tailored UDO-configured solution, achieving the goal of reducing their customization inventory.

Are you ready to empower your finance and AR teams with instant, real-time access to JD Edwards data - right inside Microsoft Teams? In this session, we’ll demonstrate how we built a conversational Assistant Bot that connects JD Edwards (via Orchestrator) to Microsoft Teams using OpenAI technology. With this bot, users simply ask questions in natural language (“What’s our current AR balance?”, “Who are our top overdue customers?”), and receive accurate, up-to-date answers - no technical skills or JDE navigation required.
We’ll share the full lifecycle of the project: from business needs and technical architecture to real-world outcomes and lessons learned. Attendees will see a live demo and explore how the bot interprets user requests, retrieves AR data through Orchestrator, and responds in plain English. We’ll also dive into key challenges, including Teams integration, secure authentication, and persistent conversation memory, as well as future roadmap features like multi-module support and advanced reporting.

Who should attend?
Anyone involved in JD Edwards administration, financial operations, IT, or business analysis - especially those seeking to streamline user access to JDE data, reduce manual reporting, and accelerate decision-making. Whether you’re a technical developer, business analyst, or functional user, you’ll walk away with practical insights and actionable steps for bringing conversational AI to your own JDE environment.

Key Takeaways:
1. How to leverage OpenAI, Microsoft Teams, and JDE Orchestrator to automate real-time data delivery
2. Real-world benefits for AR and Finance teams
3. Tips for integration, security, and scaling your own JDE bot
