Machine Learning and Data Science with Oracle Autonomous Database 

Abstract: As next generation enterprise applications are more data driven and more intelligent, advanced analytics and machine Learning bring

great business value. By moving the machine learning algorithms to database where the data is stored, Oracle In-Database machine

learning allows to use machine learning model in your applications. In this session, we will discuss how Oracle Autonomous database

provides a great platform for developing and deploying machine learning and the related data science tasks.  We will discuss how to build,

evaluate and deploy machine learning models natively with large enterprise data using  Oracle Machine Learning for SQL(OML4SQL) and

Oracle Machine Learning for Python (OML4Py).   Join us to learn the machine learning process with Oracle Autonomous Database as platform

that supports data preparation and exploring, model building , model evaluation and model scoring through some examples.

We also will discuss how to automate the machine learning with  Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) and as well as the Analytics & AI

services in Oracle cloud environment.

Kai Yu is a Distinguished Engineer and a member of the Technical Leadership Community in Dell Technologies. Kai has 30 years’ experience of architecting

various IT solutions by specializing in Oracle database, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Analytics and Machine Learning. Kai has been a frequent speaker

at various IT/Oracle conferences with more 220 presentations in 25 countries. He also authored 36 articles in technical journals such as IEEE Transactions on

Big Data, IOUG Select etc. Kai has co-authored  two Apress books “Expert Oracle RAC12c” and  “Machine Learning for Oracle Database Professionals”

Kai has been a Quest/IOUG conference committee member, and IOUG RAC president and IOUG Cloud SIG co-founder and the current vice president.

Kai has been an Oracle ACE Director since 2010 . He also received the 2011 OAUG Innovator of Year award the 2012 Oracle Excellence Award:

Technologist of the Year: Cloud Architect by Oracle Magazine.
