OCI – Introducing Oracle SQL Firewall as Part Of 23c

Description:

Security of the database continues to be critical protect data from attacks and breaches. Oracle Database 23c introduces a new SQL Firewall capability to help improve the enabled firewall. The SQL Firewall monitors incoming SQL statements and compares the session context and submitted statement against the enabled firewall policies. Statements that are permitted by policy are allowed to pass through to the database. Statements that are not allowed by policy are either blocked, or the firewall will pass them but record a violation in its logs.
