SCM – Get Ready for Improved Acquisition Cost Adjustment Processing in Cost Management

Description:

This session will covers key concepts and enhancements to the improved acquisition cost adjustment logic in SCM Cost Management.

The redesigned acquisition cost processor, a sub-processor that handles all purchase related transactions, includes substantial benefits over the existing logic like:

• Full absorption of invoice variances for all scenarios including partial receipts
• Reconciliation improvements for receiving inspection account
• Better handling for foreign currency purchases

This feature was released in 22D and becomes standard from 24C and hence customers are requested to review feature details and make themselves familiar with the changes.
