OCI – Day One and Beyond: Building AI Agents with Oracle Database@Google Cloud and Vertex AI

This technical session demonstrates production-grade AI agent development by integrating Google Vertex AI with Oracle AI Database on Oracle Database@Google Cloud . Attendees will explore deploying Oracle AI Database within Google Cloud infrastructure and implementing intelligent agents using Vertex AI Agent Builder and the Agent Development Kit.

Oracle Database@Google Cloud enables organizations to deploy Oracle’s enterprise -grade database technologies within Google Cloud infrastructure, eliminating data gravity constraints while maintaining operational consistency across cloud environments.

Attendees will gain hands-on insights into deploying Oracle AI Database on Oracle Database@Google Cloud and implementing intelligent agent frameworks using Vertex AI Agent Builder and the Agent Development Kit . The session covers critical implementation patterns including vector embedding strategies for semantic search operations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline architectures for context-aware AI responses, and agentic system design patterns that enable autonomous reasoning and interaction with complex enterprise datasets.
