OCI – Day One and Beyond: Architecting Secure, Scalable Networking on OCI

Description:

Build a rock-solid networking foundation on OCI. This session walks through Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs) end to end – IP planning, public and private subnets, and route table design – then maps traffic flows with Internet, NAT, and Service Gateways for secure egress and private service access. We’ll show where a Dynamic Routing Gateway (DRG) fits for hub-and-spoke, site-to-site, and multi-VCN architectures. You’ll learn how to apply layered security using Security Lists and Network Security Groups, and how to standardize rule management at scale. We’ll close with Private Endpoints and Private Service Access to enable zero‑exposure access to services without touching the public internet. Leave with reference patterns and practical guardrails you can apply immediately in production.
