Angela was awarded the Customer Content Contributor Distinguished Service Award, which goes to customers who consistently present excellent content for the Quest Oracle Community.

2020 Distinguished Service Award Winner: Angela Beckman

Tell us a little about your company.

Yum! Brands, Inc., based in Louisville, Kentucky, has over 50,000 restaurants in more than 150 countries and territories primarily operating the company’s restaurant brands – KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell – global leaders of the chicken, pizza and Mexican-style food categories. The Company’s family of brands also includes The Habit Burger Grill, a fast-casual restaurant concept specializing in made-to-order chargrilled burgers, sandwiches and more.

What is your job title and what do you do in your role?

My job title is Analyst, HR Application Team, YUM ITSS. I am an admin for Oracle Cloud Finance/Expense, Oracle Cloud HR Helpdesk, and am the lead on our Oracle Cloud Onboarding project. In addition to configurations of the Oracle Cloud platform for those modules, I am also the point person for tech support and the liaison between integration and functional teams.

What Oracle product do you use and what do you like most about it?

We are utilizing several facets of the Oracle Cloud suite; however, my primary use is of Oracle Cloud Financials and HCM. What I like most about Oracle Cloud is the extensibility and ability to customize the product to fit the ever-changing needs of our business.

How long have you been involved with Quest?

I have been involved with Quest for two years.

How have you benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?

The Quest Oracle Community is like an extended family. I have benefited tremendously from networking at COLLABORATE (and beyond!), and through the additional trainings offered on specific topics. I appreciate that members share their knowledge (tips and tricks especially) with the community, so we can continue to learn from each other.

What’s one interesting fact about you?

I love to sing and am the choir director at my local church.

Do you have any children or pets?

I have four children (three boys & one girl), three dogs, and four fish.
