2020 Distinguished Service Award Winner: Larry Furino
Tell us a little about your company.
ACBM Solutions is an Oracle Gold Partner and one of only two companies that have achieved an Oracle Validated Integration using the JDE Orchestrator.
While we provide traditional JDE consulting services to existing customers, ACBM Solutions is hyper-focused on expanding awareness of the Orchestrator. We deliver training to help clients become self-sufficient, products to increase the accessibility of orchestrations, and consulting services to deliver simple solutions to complex problems.
What is your job title and what do you do in your role?
I am the founder of ACBM Solutions, and I play several different roles within the company. I am always involved in the sales process, and I frequently jump in to help on the delivery side as well. I really enjoy working with clients and delivering solutions to challenging problems others struggle to solve.
What Oracle product do you use and what do you like most about it?
We only provide JD Edwards services and we specialize in the Orchestrator. The thing I like most about the Orchestrator is that it can be used to create complex integrations and automate business processes without a developer. I have never written a line of code in JD Edwards, but I have created solutions in a few hours using the Orchestrator that would have taken a developer weeks or months to create comparable functionality using other development tools.
How long have you been involved with Quest?
ACBM Solutions has been a member of Quest since 2016. Prior to that, I used to participate at conferences and webinars when I was a consultant at GL Associates starting in 2005.
How have you benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?
As a small business, it is very challenging to gain exposure given the larger established players that have existed for so long and command such a loyal customer base. Quest has given us the opportunity to participate in the community and gain recognition as an authority in the Orchestrator space.
What’s one interesting fact about you?
I am an avid blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiast. I have been mining and using cryptocurrency for many years.
Do you have any children or pets?
I am the proud dad of two amazing young boys, Matthew (6) and Kyle (3). When I am not working, they keep me busy with all of their extracurricular activities including, karate, basketball, and swimming.
Thank you again to this year’s award winners for everything you do for the Quest Oracle Community!
