While shifting your HCM software from On-Prem to Oracle Cloud is a significant undertaking, the majority of PeopleSoft customers are raving about the results of their shift to the Cloud. Below, we’ll highlight a handful of these customers and their positive experiences.
LINX Cargo Care Group
LINX Cargo Care Group made the decision to “transition first, transform later” when determining how to migrate to Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud and Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud. This decision was directly related to their de-merger with another company, from which they aimed to extract their PeopleSoft finance, HR, and labor planning. The need to separate from their former partners created a window of opportunity to move to Oracle HCM Cloud, and they enthusiastically took advantage of it.
LINX needed to make their move quickly in order to avoid significant upgrade costs. By setting a preferred time frame and sticking to it, the company eliminated up to $8 million in upgrade costs over five years. Their transition included a shift from legacy PeopleSoft applications to Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning and Oracle Cloud HCM.
The results of LINX’s shift to Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle ERP Cloud include:
- Increased flexibility and scalability to support significant growth
- Savings of millions of dollars in yearly upgrade costs
- Decreased HR workload by 50%
- Improved ability to attract talent
- Adaptable performance review cycles based on business needs
- Proactive identification and retention of high-potential or at-risk talent
- Expected savings up to $480,000 in annual licensing and infrastructure hosting costs
LINX’s shift to these Clouds invited them to access Cloud applications such as Oracle Planning and Budgeting, Oracle Talent Acquisition, Oracle Project Financial Management, Oracle Performance Management, Oracle Goals Management, and Oracle Talent Review and Succession Management.
In the LINX Cargo Care Group’s CFO’s words, “Migrating the legacy systems to Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud and Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud provided us the flexibility and scalability to support growth and avoid millions of dollars on yearly upgrade costs. We also cut our HR workload by 50% and improved our ability to attract talent.”
