Oracle User Community Releases Commissioned Research To Help Businesses Facing Modern Technology Challenges

Quest International Users Group recently commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a study and is now releasing the insights to its members on how companies can best prepare for some of today’s toughest business technology challenges.  Quest International is a 55,000-member, international user community for Oracle products including PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Oracle Cloud Applications. Users join Quest to get help solving business problems and to gain maximum value from business investments in Oracle technology.

As part of its mission to provide high-quality education, networking and advocacy to its members, Quest commissioned world-class research firm Forrester to deliver custom business and technology insights. Results of Quest’s first research initiative with Forrester Consulting has launched on Quest’s website, Questdirect.org. The research identified key ways businesses can maximize their ROI on applications strategies by optimizing IT organizations and enabling specific business processes. Now available through Quest’s strategic content centers (an exclusive paid member benefit) the insights can help users adapt their applications strategies to latest business needs and enabling technologies.

Results from Gain Agility While Mitigating Risk Through Hybrid Cloud, an April 2017 commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Quest International Users Group were revealed at Quest’s COLLABORATE conference in Las Vegas, April 2 – 6, 2018.  Insights show how C-level technology professionals are planning for changes related to hybrid cloud infrastructure. Results answer why CIOs plan to increase training and hiring of business analysts and security professionals, after having benefited from hybrid cloud.  A guest speaker from Forrester discussed the findings during the COLLABORATE Executive Forum. Future posts in this Business Technology Blog will share more details of the research findings.

In addition to the Forrester study, Quest is responding to increased needs related to cloud adoption strategies amongst its members. Quest is actively growing another user community called “OC2” to facilitate education, collaboration and advocacy specifically for Oracle’s Cloud Application users. Paid Quest members can access the latest Forrester research within Quest’s new Business and Technology Content Center on Questdirect.org.
