PeopleSoft Inventory has a very robust fulfillment engine with many options available.  For many of the fulfillment activities, there are configurations that guide the processing that have a dramatic impact on how the system operates.  In many cases, there are multiple ways for users to process a transaction.  While advanced features such as Pegging, Reservation/Backorder Rules, and various workbenches have been introduced over time, many organizations haven’t fully taken advantage of these capabilities and continue to perform the fulfillment functions in the same way that they have since their initial implementation, even if there may be options that better suit their business process. This session will provide an overview of the fulfillment process and highlight some of the options and advanced features that can help organizations streamline their operations.
