This session was presented at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026.

As interest in intuitive, conversational user experiences grows, many PeopleSoft customers are exploring Natural Language (AI) Assistants to streamline everyday interactions. In this session, Oracle experts and guest panelists will take a deep dive into the reference architecture for integrating a modern Natural Language Assistant in PeopleSoft, moving beyond legacy approaches and leveraging the latest advances in AI. We’ll walk through practical examples and live demos that illustrate how AI assistants can securely interact with PeopleSoft using REST APIs for transactional updates and OpenSearch for read-only data retrieval. You’ll learn how large language models (LLMs) and the OCI AI Agent Platform can drive adaptive, human-friendly experiences for end users, and see the flexible architecture flows and integration patterns explained.
