Introducing new software or new functionality in existing software is stressful for business users – that’s just the truth. Not addressing this simple truth can be costly and diminish your return on investment. Learn how Choctaw Nation’s supply chain management and finance business partners engagement laid the foundation for successful implementation and adoption. Hear how they are now making improvements for the Choctaw Nation. The role of business engagement extends well beyond the planning phase to ensure long-term success. Through a series of collaborative meetings to gather foundational information, we used a hybrid agile approach to demonstrate the end-to-end process. This allowed our business partners to provide invaluable feedback during the build process. During UAT, they were able to focus on fine tuning because they were not overwhelmed by the new system. Post-implementation involvement was crucial for monitoring performance, gathering user feedback, and identifying opportunities for optimization. By treating implementation as a continuous improvement process and consistently involving the business stakeholders, the business is maximizing their return on investment.
