P-053306: Get Current, Stay Current: A Continuous Adoption Playbook for JDE on OCI

Staying current has been the hard part for companies running JDE. You upgrade, you drift behind, and the next upgrade feels just as heavy as the last. At the same time, the platform underneath you is moving. 32-bit is being retired, and middleware and database versions many still depend on are reaching end of support. Now is the right time to evaluate a move to OCI. Moving to OCI clears the platform risk and puts JDE on the foundation closest to Oracle’s integration layer, AI services, and Fusion. But migration alone won’t unlock the full value potential of continuous adoption. You need a realistic approach to stay current and take advantage of everything the digital platform for JDE has to offer. This session lays out a practical path to get current and then stay current. We start with the platform case for OCI and the lifecycle changes that make this the moment to act. From there we focus on the operating discipline that captures JDE’s continuous innovation: seeing how your processes really run with the Enterprise Process Modeler, removing the customizations that block upgrades and replacing them with orchestrations and the extensibility framework, and pairing Orchestrator with modern test automation and AI-assisted impact analysis so each new release lands as a routine change instead of a project.
