We will discuss how AdventHealth has built a Par Optimization Tool to streamline and automate the process for providing the right inventory with the right quantities in the right place and at the right time. The delivered functionality has been enhanced using PeopleSoft (v9.2/PeopleTools 8.58) to create a customized tool to help manage Par Location costs and product levels across our enterprise. The Par Optimization Tool was built to review the usage of products and to determine if the current ordering values need to be updated or optimized to ensure accurate levels are kept within a specified Par. This tool helps Supply Chain Par Maintainers ensure there is a standard process for calculations along with a central work area without having to navigate to multiple locations within PeopleSoft.
