The HCM File Integration Framework gives you a guided process to help you generate flat files from your PeopleSoft system. Examples of files that can be generated include Benefit Carrier Interfaces, integrations to 3rd Party systems such as security systems, and even reporting to another system.

You no longer need to have developers write SQRs to interface data from your PeopleSoft system. Learn how to use this setup-driven configurable framework to eliminate the need for writing a lot of code to interface data.

Presented by Lisa Chow, Oracle Peoplesoft

During RECONNECT 20, Rebekah Jackson, Vice President of Product Strategy at Oracle, presented how to innovate with PeopleSoft in today's turbulent times.

Continuous delivery and innovation remain imperatives for delivering value, and yet they are even more challenging now, given unprecedented changes to budgets, operating models, and economic outlooks. To help combat these challenges, Jackson shared insights, trends, and lessons learned from the PeopleSoft Innovators – customers like you that have deployed new capabilities. Which initiatives delivered value? Were they worth the cost? If they had it to do over again, would they?

Presented at Quest Experience Week (QXW) - Cloud Day

As a long-time PeopleSoft customer, you are aware of the time commitment required to maintain your on-premise PeopleSoft system, but how would all that change if your organization were to transition to Oracle Cloud HCM? In this session, we will walk you through the ‘day in the life’ of both a technical and functional person so you understand how the commitment to supporting the system is similar and different from that of your PeopleSoft system. We will cover what configuration options you have at your disposal, what capabilities you will need to set up, and what type of training you and your users will need. To do this, we will touch on some important areas of Oracle Cloud HCM including approvals and notifications, mobile capabilities, the Experience Design Studio, and personalization and implementation options.

Presented at Quest Experience Week (QXW) – Cloud Day

PeopleSoft customers have spent years maintaining, cleaning, and updating their HCM data to ensure that PeopleSoft accurately represents their system of record. That high standard is also an important foundation for when you transition to Oracle Cloud HCM. In this session, we will review the process and best practices for migrating your data from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud HCM, whether you do it yourself or with assistance. We will review the data model at a high level so you understand the data structure for the core HR fields, as well as the organization and person hierarchy. We will discuss proven strategies for data migration and mapping that have been successful with other PeopleSoft customers.

Presented at Quest Experience Week (QXW) – Cloud Day

As a PeopleSoft customer, you are accustomed to a regular, published cadence of image updates for PeopleSoft HCM, ELM, and HR HelpDesk which allows you to execute your selective adoption strategy for taking on new product features and updates. This session will cover what you can expect with Oracle Cloud HCM with how new features are made available, what your responsibilities are for testing those new features, how fixes are provided, and the regular quarterly update schedule. We will also cover what impact, if any, there is to users during those updates.

Presented at Quest Experience Week (QXW) - PeopleSoft Day
