Strategy Spotlight – We want to thank all of the 80+ Customer Advisory Board (CAB) members who participated in our first virtual CAB meeting last month. We had the opportunity to discuss strategic, long-term PeopleSoft initiatives our team is working on ranging from Notifications to Personalization’s to Configuration Frameworks, and pillar-specific features including our new Tuition Reimbursement feature which was recently added to our roadmap. We expect the CAB to meet at least once a year. If you are interested in joining the CAB, check out the information here.
Note that Image 47 was delivered on September 15 featuring Fluid Person Data, Notification Composer, Fluid Business Objectives for Performance Management, and much more.

Focus Group Updates: Click on the link to find a focus group to join
- Benefits – The Focus Group did not meet in August and instead where invited to attend a Quest Webinar on SECURE 2.0. The recording can be found on the Quest website. Focus Group members are also encouraged to listen to the podcast and review the newest two blogs. Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions to PeopleSoft about SECURE 2.0 (oracle.com) and IRS Announces an Administrative Transition Period for Section 603 of the SECURE 2.0 Act (oracle.com).
- Insights – The Workgroup had a very robust open discussion by customers on their Insights implementations. Customers shared their tips and tricks with each other.
- Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – Focus group met and discussed mandatory programs. The design is almost complete, and we will begin development soon. The focus group also reviewed desired changes to notifications. The focus group will be meeting in October to take a deeper look into notifications and possible future enhancements.
- Absence Management – Focus group met to discuss the requirements for the new Team Calendars for administrators, business partners/matrix teams, and delegates. We reviewed the Lockdown framework that was delivered in Image 46. The Notification Composer functionality that is coming out soon was also reviewed and its effect on Absence Management.
- Time & Labor – Focus group met to discuss the requirements for some upcoming features relating to Monthly Timesheets honoring User Preferences, and Manager’s being allowed to select a date when doing a search for timesheets. We also discussed the requirements for the new Team Calendars for administrators, business partners/matrix teams, and delegates. Looking to the upcoming Image we reviewed the Direct Reports Fluid pages, the Lockdown Framework and how it replaces and improves upon the Time and Labor Lockdown functionality, and the Notification Composer functionality and what it means to Time and Labor.
- HR Help Desk – Focus group was updated about HR Helpdesk Image 21 availability as of August 4th along with showing a list of enhancements planned for HR Helpdesk Image 22. The focus group also reviewed and provided feedback on proposed high priority requirements list for “Case Questionnaire Enhancements” and “Post Case Survey” features.
***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed. Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

- United States –The Department of Homeland Security just released the new version of the Form I-9, which organization have to use by October 31, 2023. We will be posting a position statement soon with the changes and estimated delivery of the update.
- United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617). It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
