2020 Distinguished Service Award Winner: Asset Management Solutions
Tell us a little about your company.
Asset Management Solutions (AMS) was founded in April of 2003 with a primary focus on utilizing technology to provide comprehensive asset and maintenance management solutions to our clients.
AMS serves a wide variety of industries, including refineries, mining, construction, utility, energy, manufacturing, agricultural, pulp and paper, and wineries. Our customers share a standard for excellence and a genuine desire to improve efficiency, enabling them to achieve the highest quality of production. It is our honor to help them accomplish this time and time again.
Our mission is to maximize return on investment through optimization of the financial and operational performance of our clients’ assets. With this goal in mind, our consulting resources are software specialists with numerous years of implementation experience and each possesses technical, industry, and management expertise.
What Oracle product do you use and what do you like most about it?
We specialize in specific Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software solutions, specifically Capital Asset Management (CAM), Inventory and Procurement.
We have a passion for maintenance and storeroom management. While many see these functions as “dirty” or overhead activities supporting operations, we see them as the most important production Work Center in your business. Maintenance doesn’t produce widgets, or Gold, or any other finished goods, but it does produce Asset/Equipment Availability…and for an Asset Intensive company all revenue is directly tied to the operation of your Assets.
How long have you been involved with Quest?
AMS has been involved with Quest since our founding in 2003.
How has your organization benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?
The Quest Oracle Community has been our single most important business relationship.
Our involvement in the Quest Enterprise Asset Management SIG group has allowed us to work with Quest, Oracle, and Customers to deliver maintenance and storeroom specific content to JD Edwards users on a monthly basis and to sponsor a focused Breakout track at the InFocus conferences.
We’ve also leveraged the Vendor Awareness Sessions at Quest conferences to raise awareness of partner-created JD Edwards solutions that would otherwise not have the same visibility.
Thank you again to this year’s award winners for everything you do for the Quest Oracle Community!
