Investing in the Future Leaders of the Oracle Ecosystem

Record Cohort Reflects Growing Investment in Leadership Across the Quest Community

When most people think about Quest’s Emerging Leaders Program, they naturally think about developing individual leaders.  That’s certainly part of the story.

But as we’ve begun seeing the impact of the program, we are seeing the ELP create something even more significant.  Leadership development doesn’t just benefit the individual. As leaders become more capable, they strengthen their teams. Stronger teams strengthen organizations. And stronger organizations create a healthier, more capable Oracle community for everyone.

That perspective helps explain why organizations engage with the Emerging Leaders Program in different ways. Some develop their own high-potential employees. Others contribute by serving as mentors or executive sponsors. Still others invest in leadership workshops, alumni programming, or sponsor customer participants. While each approach looks different, they all share a common purpose: helping strengthen the future of the Oracle community by developing its leaders.

Registration has now closed for the third cohort of Quest’s Emerging Leaders Program, and we’re excited to welcome our largest and most diverse cohort to date.

One of the strengths of the Emerging Leaders Program is the diversity of perspectives around the table. This year’s participants represent customer organizations, vendor organizations and Oracle.   In addition to seventeen (17) customer participants, we’re pleased to welcome Edgar Calderon of Trenez and Tina Thames of Oracle to this year’s cohort.

The Emerging Leaders Program is intentionally designed to bring together leaders with different experiences, perspectives, and expertise because leadership grows faster when people are challenged, encouraged, and inspired by viewpoints beyond their own. While participants certainly gain valuable leadership knowledge, it is often the community itself—the conversations, relationships, and shared experiences—that becomes the catalyst for lasting transformation.

This experience is made possible through the commitment of organizations that believe leadership development is an investment in the future of our community. We are especially grateful to Deloitte for its continued partnership and sponsorship of the Emerging Leaders Program, and to Rick Katz for generously sharing his leadership experience and insights with each cohort. Their investment reflects a commitment not only to developing leaders, but to strengthening the Oracle community as a whole.

Although this year’s cohort has begun its journey, opportunities remain for organizations that want to contribute to the continued growth of future leaders. Sponsorship opportunities are available for select leadership workshops and Emerging Leaders alumni programming, providing meaningful ways to support continued leadership development while demonstrating your organization’s commitment to the long-term success of the Oracle community.

Congratulations to Edgar, Tina, and every member of the 2027 Emerging Leaders Program cohort. We look forward to watching the impact they will make within their organizations and throughout the Oracle community.
