We’ve talked about UX One before, and now we’re going to discuss how UX One updates play into the framework of their latest module offerings. Oracle defines this umbrella of capabilities as a “first-rate, second-to-none user experience for EnterpriseOne users.” But many users would argue that a first-class user experience got even better.
UX One is a way for users to perform everyday tasks more efficiently and experience technology on a much larger scale. We’ll outline three key benefits and their real-life applications below.
Enhancing employee processes
More dexterous navigation allows users to look at current business conditions so they can react to issues that need attention. The newest Analytic Components features helps end users find transactional information.
Integrating with mobile applications
Mobile employee time entry lets employees grab, review and add functions from their devices. They can also overview timecard status, time off accruals and more via comprehensive, easy-to-read graphs. Mobile inventory transfer and cycle count increase the accuracy of JD Edwards Inventory Management info.
With fewer paper-based processes come fewer possibilities for errors, and barcode-enabled mobile apps automate processes.
Working with Oracle content
Now customers can add, edit and view content while experiencing Cloud content outside of JD Edwards transactions. A paperclip icon now shows where documents exist, a useful tool in checking for added documents without needing to enter the cloud.
