The IOUG and Quest Combination

Earlier this month, Quest Oracle Community and IOUG shared some exciting news. IOUG will become the “IOUG Database & Technology Community” and integrate with Quest’s JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and Oracle Cloud community groups. Following a vote, currently underway, IOUG members will join Quest. Our board of directors will become an Advisory Board tasked with identifying educational needs and growth opportunities for our community. The current SELECT Editorial Board will continue to serve the community in our new home.

IOUG will work closely with Quest to transition membership information, content and historical information to support the development of the new community starting on May 1, 2019.

Under this agreement, Quest will assume responsibility for providing content publication services to IOUG’s membership, but the actual content will continue to be written and edited by experts within our community. What does that mean for SELECT?

SELECT will continue to exist as a trusted resource for in-depth, peer-reviewed articles on the topics that matter most to you. We’ll begin transferring SELECT content to Quest’s brand-new online platform soon after May 1.

Of course, SELECT articles will still be accepted for publication during the transition period and after we’ve officially joined Quest. You can continue to reach out to the SELECT editors via email: [email protected].
