Oracle Loader for Hadoop with Cloudera HDFS/Oracle12C

Many enterprise have data in Oracle Databases, so with the avaliability of Hadoop, one can build a commodity cluster to process large amounts of data, and then use OLH (Oracle Loader for Hadoop) to load an Oracle Database 12C table with the in-memory feature. The lab focus is to first understand the Java M-R (Map-Reduce) programming paradigm which is the basis of OLH, setup OLH on the Cloudera Hadoop Distribution, and move large data files to an Oracle 12C in-memory table. Attendees will learn how to use the Clodera manager to montior the OLH M-R jobs, YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator), debug  health of nodes, and the Enterprise Manager 12C to check the Oracle 12C database server, tablespaces, all during the load process.
