The Quest community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of John Schiff, former Vice President of JD Edwards Business Development. John was a long-standing pillar in the JD Edwards community. He played a central role in the overall management of JD Edwards’ relationships with customers for more than 20 years before retiring in 2017.

John was the recipient of the Quest Legacy Award in 2012 for his service to the user community. I would like to share an excerpt from the awards ceremony to illustrate just how much of an impact John had, and the lasting legacy he continues to have, on our community:

“John has always been an advocate for user group involvement and has partnered with Quest since its inception in 1995. To many members of the user community, John has been the face and heart of the JD Edwards product line. John places his customers’ needs at the forefront and has developed tremendous relationships because of that. We celebrate with John his amazing career and thank him for his dedicated service to and partnership with Quest.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to John’s family and close friends, as we know he will be deeply missed.
