A nine-time winner of Interbrand’s “Best Insurance Global Brand,” the corporate team is committed to continuous improvement in their processes. A few years ago, they identified a need to update and centralize their overall HR systems, and after looking at a variety of options, selected Oracle HCM Cloud.

Once selected, the AXA team embarked on a difficult journey of implementation. They ran into issues in their new performance management system until they got feedback from outside the corporate HR team—the end users. Today, they are committed to inviting end users into early design processes instead of testing out plans at the completion of projects.
To counteract the negative effects of the system transition, the AXA team developed a change management plan made up of the Corporate Center of Excellence and local change leaders. Regular phone calls, document sharing, and live boot camps during new launches led to a smoother implementation.
As they look back on the past few years, the AXA team is honest about the difficulties surrounding their move to Oracle HCM Cloud, but they wouldn’t ever dream of going back on their decision.
