Catch Up with The JDE Connection: From INFOCUS Prep to the Live Stage

The JDE Connection has been busy over the past few episodes, covering everything from automation and customization to INFOCUS 2026 — before taking the podcast live on stage in Denver.

In Episode 119: Getting Ready for INFOCUS, Chandra and Paul previewed the INFOCUS 2026 agenda, highlighting sessions, hot topics, and the launch of the new JD Edwards AI SIG.

In Episode 120: When One Automation Leads to Another, Lane Lassetter of Interface and Rajan Kaistha of RST Solutions joined the podcast to share how solving one accounts payable challenge helped uncover new opportunities to automate processes across the business.

In Episode 121: Ope, I Still Need to Customize. Now What?, not every customization can be eliminated, so Chandra and Paul explored how to make smarter customization decisions while keeping future maintenance and upgrades in mind.

And, most recently, in Episode 122: Live from INFOCUS 26 – Modern Keeps Moving with AJ Schifano, The JDE Connection went live at INFOCUS 2026 with AJ Schifano, who was wrapping up his final conference before retiring after 29 years with JD Edwards. Between audience participation, some questionable voting technology and surprisingly strong opinions about Paul’s hair, the conversation looked back at how much JD Edwards has changed — and why “modern” never stays modern for long. AJ shared stories and perspective from nearly three decades in the community while looking ahead at AI, automation and whatever comes next.

Catch up on these episodes and more at The JDE Connection.

Have questions or want to get involved with Quest?

Have questions or want to learn more about Quest and what membership includes? We’re here to help you explore the full community experience and make sure you’re not missing out on opportunities to connect, learn, and grow with peers across Oracle applications.

Quest membership is designed to support ongoing learning and collaboration through peer-to-peer networking at community meetups, virtual webinars, and shared conversations with professionals facing similar challenges and initiatives. Paid members also gain access to 1:1 connections through the member directory, the ability to explore and post roles in the Career Center, and additional community resources that help extend learning beyond events.

Many members tell us the real value comes from being part of the ongoing dialogue—not just attending events, but staying connected to a broader network of practitioners, leaders, and experts throughout the year.

If you’d like to learn more about what’s included or how to get involved, we’re happy to help. Email us at engagement@questoraclecommunity.org.
