Moving to the cloud sounds like a good idea, but it can be expensive. And one of the more significant line items is how much data you’re dragging around. Two terabytes in prod turns out to be 12 terabytes after you add PY, QA, CRP, DV and training environments. If you can skinny that down from 2 to 1.5 or even 1TB, the space savings add up quickly. And performance will improve considerably as well.
