In this session we’ll address the reasons why tackling a mountain of JDE E1 data may seem like a daunting project. More importantly we’ll be looking to dispel any myths with real life examples and specific business benefits that can be achieved by a proactive approach to data management. We’ll look at why it’s crucial to choose the right solution for your organization’s situation. Some of the reasons to get started include noticeable performance improvements, time freed up to focus on other projects, easier to troubleshoot issues and reduced risks due to holding onto less data overall. We’ll refer to the Purge-it! custom module that allows industry specific data to be moved to an easily accessible archive environment. Objectives To share knowledge and understanding around tackling industry specific data that has built up over a number of years in an organization’s JDE E1 environment. To provide practical solutions to challenges faced. To look at real life scenarios of using the Purge-it! custom module for archiving (and if required purging) JD Edwards data.
