Keep the Hackers Out: Activate Latest Secure Protocols for ALL JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Servers

Presented at INFOCUS Envision 2021

Session Id: 101790

JD Edwards environments can be exposed to risk by using outdated security standards and configurations such as SSL 3.0/TLS 1.0/TLS1.1. This leaves passwords without encryption which opens the door for malicious software to steal a password. Learn how to enable highly secure protocols and disable legacy protocols for both Testing and Production environments. Attendees will be shown a case study of using Weblogic 12G while reusing an existing Wild Card certificate to secure a JD Edwards environment using the latest security protocols, and what kind of impact this upgrade will have on performance. This session has been updated to include new details on using HTTPS support for AIS, BSSV and Orchestrator.
