Are you hosted On-Premise with PeopleSoft and understand that a move to the Oracle Could Infrastructure (OCI) for PeopleSoft systems is on the horizon? While you wait for that, do you plan to do an upgrade to a new PeopleTools version or get current to an application PUM version in order to future proof some your environments? If your answer is yes to these questions, this session is for you! This is a session with lessons learned from our objective to get State of Minnesota aligned with Oracle’s product roadmap and lifecycle management strategy. A discussion of the challenges we face currently, the opportunities for improvement, current practices/ideas around staying current until we make the leap to OCI. In addition, let us also look through some strategies and newly delivered features to ensure that fewer customizations can be made to delivered objects, which means that there is less code retrofit effort now and during future upgrades, hence making the application easily maintainable, like Drop-Zones, Event Mapping, Page and Field Configurator (PFC). We will also briefly discuss some implementation strategies for features like PeopleSoft Fluid UI, Classic Plus styling, Accessibility, Managing Bolt-On Enhancements, etc. This will be a discussion to understand the current, so that we can better plan the future.
