Did you implement something in JD Edwards more than 10 years ago? Did you make design decisions back then that you now wish you could revisit due to technical debt? You’re not alone!

Batesville implemented JD Edwards Configurator over a decade ago, and with years of growth and change, they started encountering limitations. After considering various options with their partner, ERP Suites, Batesville decided that reimplementing the configurator was the best solution.

By combining Batesville's deep knowledge of their products with ERP Suites' expertise in JD Edwards and Configurator, we reimplemented configurator for Batesville's newest and fastest-growing product line in under four months! This required creating new item masters, item branches, and new configurations for hundreds of items and doing it all in minutes for cutover weekend. How did the team achieve this? Through hard work, teamwork, and significant help from the JDE Orchestrator!

Join us in this session to learn how a company using JD Edwards for over a decade reassessed their processes, configuration, and master data. Instead of replacing a great tool, they invested in reimplementing it to match their current business needs, unlocking tremendous value, and learning a ton in the process!

Our company has over 100 locations on JDE 9.2. These companies are located in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. We provide JDE to our users in 11 languages. We have to be flexible enough to meet local requirements and we’ve to be SOx compliant. We’re supporting the acquisition strategy of our company and are constantly implementing JDE 9.2, often multiple implementations are going on at the same time. Next to all previous activities we’re following the release strategy of Oracle JDE to be able to continuously innovate our applications. A very important base for previous, is to keep JDE standard and move to other solutions/ platforms if there’s no fit to go for standard. For example, we use a low code platform to cover (logistical) gaps and several other Oracle tools like HCM, CX Cloud, EPM.
