Enterprises running JD Edwards are under increasing pressure to modernize without disrupting core operations. This presentation reveals how AI and intelligent automation can instantly elevate performance across Finance, Order Management, and HR—without replacing existing systems. We explore how AI transforms Accounts Payable through touchless invoice processing, accelerates order to cash by converting purchase orders to sales orders with zero manual effort, and reimagines HR workflows with AI powered talent identification, automated digital forms, and personalized onboarding journeys. Together, these capabilities streamline operations, reinforce data accuracy, reduce cycle times, and unlock new levels of efficiency. The result is a smarter, more resilient organization equipped to make faster, more strategic decisions across the entire enterprise workforce and operational landscape.

This session will explore how organizations are unlocking low-cost automation opportunities while producing high impact within JD Edwards by leveraging native tools such as Orchestrator. Instead of investing in costly third-party platforms, companies are maximizing the value of their existing ERP to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Embedding automation directly within the ERP increases system value and improves overall system adoption leading to a reduced total cost of ownership and significantly accelerating return on investment (ROI). Equally important to the technology are the organizational strategies that enable success. We will highlight key drivers such as strong alignment between business and IT, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined governance. Through a real-world example, we will show how this alignment enables faster automation, scales impact across the organization and drives measurable ROI. Attendees will leave with a practical perspective on how to increase efficiency, improve agility, and fully realize the value of their JD Edwards investment.

Many business analysts are excellent at understanding systems—but far less comfortable guiding the human side of change. When the focus of the change conversation stays on the technology, it becomes anchored in what the system can do rather than creating a shared understanding of the problem that needs to be solved. This session is for business analysts and technical practitioners who bring strong technology and domain expertise to their work, but struggle to shift from defining solutions to facilitating effective change conversations. In this talk, we explore the mindset shift required to move from technical expert to effective change enabler. Using the IIBA Business Analysis Core Concept Model (BACCM) as a practical framework, we explore how business analysts can re orient their role toward guiding conversations, surfacing assumptions, navigating ambiguity, and keeping stakeholders focused on outcomes rather than outputs. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to leverage their expertise in service of change—by creating shared understanding, guiding learning, and helping organizations move forward when the path isn’t fully defined. Participants will learn how to: •Recognize the mindset shift required to move from solution expertise to change facilitation •Use BACCM as a conversational guide for framing change discussions •Ask questions that enable sensemaking instead of providing answers too early •Facilitate productive change conversations even when information is incomplete •Focus their work on outcomes, learning, and decisions rather than artifacts
