The Road to Kibana: Learn how a Hackensack Meridian Health in 2022 paved their way to Data Visualizations

Presented by:
Gary Dranikoski, SpearMC

Abstract:

Join this session to hear real-life examples of how customers like HMH and Parkview are leveraging Kibana and hear a deep dive use case that showcases tangible benefits to attendees. The purpose of this presentation is to educate PeopleSoft customers with the data visualization, dashboarding, and analytical capabilities now available with Kibana and PeopleTools 8.58.

PeopleSoft has always been a great transactional system, but the embedded reporting capabilities have typically fallen short in function, performance, visualization, and/or usability. With Kibana, hear how a customer now has a user-friendly option for analytical reporting and interactive dashboards within PeopleSoft. “The Road to Kibana” will take the audience on a journey from identifying a reporting need to building content then concluding with a dashboard that SpearMC has built to support our customers.

Objectives:

  • Introduce Kibana and generate excitement about the product to create demand. Introduce attendees to the new Kibana reporting and analytical capabilities to create interest and entice clients to upgrade their PeopleTools to the latest version.
  • Education – provide details and real-life examples. By focusing part of the presentation on a deep dive with a use case we will provide tangible benefits to attendees.
  • Create a value proposition for Oracle to further enhance Kibana capabilities and offerings. The more customers that use the product, the more Oracle will spend on further developing it.
