RV’s Strategy Spotlight

We hope to see everyone in Las Vegas next month for Blueprint 4D, which will provide plenty of opportunities for you to network with other PeopleSoft customers, attend keynote presentations, 20+ Oracle roadmap and update presentations, hot-topic sessions, and 150+ sessions across PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle Database & Technology.    If you are a healthcare industry PeopleSoft customer, you are probably already aware of the HIUG Interact 2022 conference that takes place in Miami the week following Blueprint 4D.  A number of PeopleSoft product people will be there as well to answer questions and deliver presentations.

Customer Corner – Highlights customers who have implemented, upgraded or deployed new HCM Features

Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • Job Data Working Group – The group met to review best practices for correction mode entry and answered customers’ questions regarding Fluid Job Data.
  • Human Resource (HR) – The focus group reviewed and then priority ranked new analytics they want for Personal and Job Data.
  • Time and Labor – The focus group did not meet this month, but we are meeting next month to review the new Employee Scheduling feature and adding the View By period selector to the fluid timesheets.
  • Absence Management – The focus group reviewed and discussed the changes being made to Absence Forecasting, including how the balances are displayed.  We also discussed the integration of Absence Management into the new ESS Scheduling feature in Time and Labor, and reviewed the recently delivered Team and Employee Calendars.
  • Benefits– Focus group met to review the design of the Benefits Statement Configuration that is on our roadmap. Customers expressed a lot of excitement over this enhancement and the benefits it will bring. The focus group saw a preview of the Benefits Plan Comparison that is to be demo’d at the BluePrint conference.
  • Accessibility – The group did not meet in April.  We are currently requesting agenda topics from members for our next scheduled call on May 17th
  • Visualization Working Group – Our April meeting included a demo from Vidant Health of their Turnover Dashboard and a great technical discussion in the group on creating your own visualizations.
  • Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – The focus group did not meet in April, as we are continuing to work on fluidization of MSS functions. In our May meeting will be covering the fluid rostering pages and well as design considerations for learning plans.
  • HR Help Desk – Focus Group met to discuss requirements for Solution Effectiveness Analytics and prioritize the requirements for high priority analytics

 ***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.
