Congratulations to Norwegian Cruise Line, deployed PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management. The business drivers were to remove duplicate handling of data, facilitate integration, reduce additional license fees, drive engagement, and manage compliance initiatives internally through learning.

Focus Group Updates: Click on the link to find a focus group to join
- Global Payroll/Absence Management – Focus group met to review and discuss the design for the GP Rapid Calculation feature.
- Insights – The focus group provided a 3–5-minute update on their Insights initiatives including demos, new tips and tricks to share with the group, or questions for others. The sharing of information between the customers at the August meetings was fantastic. Note: Workgroup has moved from monthly to quarterly meeting.
- Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – We met and discussed the image being released in October. Be on the lookout for our October focus group, which will meet on the first Thursday of the month.
- Onboarding – The focus group will meet on October 9th to discuss multiuser use cases for onboarding and the possible need for a trans boarding solution.
- Tuition Reimbursement – Focus group met and reviewed and provided feedback on the first designs of this feature. We will meet again in late October.
***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed. Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

- United States – Revised Employee and Applicant Veteran self-identification form – U.S.A. Update – PRP posted
- Brazil -Updates for PeopleSoft HCM regarding Technical Note No. 04/2024 of Simplified eSocial have been made available, the layout of which was published on June 28, 2024, specifically adjusting eConsignado project requirements.
- United Kingdom – The Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023, will come into force from April 2025. The new legislation will give parents the right to take neonatal care leave and receive neonatal care pay.
- Malaysia -The Ministry of Human Resources through the Social Security Organization(SOCSO) had announced the Extension of the Invalidity Scheme coverage to foreign workers under the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4), effective July 01, 2024.
- Australia – The Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) presented the territory’s budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year on June 25, 2024. The budget incorporates taxation changes that form part of the ACT’s ongoing tax modernization program.
