Benefits of Utilizing the PeopleSoft Fluid Supplier Portal

Shelby Klingerman, Content Curator |

Tadipatri Sudarsan, Senior Product Strategy Manager at Oracle, gave a presentation about the PeopleSoft Fluid Supplier Portal during Quest Global Day. The presentation covered the benefits of using the Fluid Interface and Fluid Supplier Portal.

Reducing Workload

For starters, the PeopleSoft Fluid Supplier Portal will reduce buyers’ workload, enhance supplier collaboration and reduce time-consuming vendor calls. Since the portal is Fluid, it is easy to use and configure. It is also beneficial because it works well with mobile devices, so users can enjoy the simple interface just as much when they’re on the move as they do when they’re at their desk.

Benefits of Fluid

Fluid is simple, intuitive and responsive. Most new features are delivered using the Fluid UI, so users need to embrace Fluid if they haven’t already because it is here to stay!

Fluid Public Homepage

The Fluid Supplier Portal also contains the first external-facing Fluid pages in FSCM, which are available in Image 23. There is a Fluid Public Homepage and a Fluid Secure Homepage.

The Fluid Public Homepage contains features like a welcome message, FAQ, contact information, events and announcements, configurable self-service registration, and more. The Fluid Secure Homepage also has the welcome message, FAQ, contact information, events, and announcements; however, it also contains information regarding Purchase Orders, acknowledgments, receipts, bidding opportunities, contract documents, and more.
