What is your job title and what do you do in your role?
My job title is Manager, PeopleSoft Development and Administration, and I manage day to day operations of PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM applications, including the development of new functionality, enhancements to current functionality, reporting needs and maintaining security.
What Oracle product do you use and what do you like most about it?
PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM. The best part of PeopleSoft is the ability to accommodate virtually all business needs, from utilizing new frameworks like Related Content Framework – Event Mapping and Page and Field Configurator to good old fashioned PeopleCode changes to delivered code.
How long have you been involved with Quest?
I have been attending conferences and webinars as well as participating in the community for about five years.
How have you benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?
The biggest benefit I have found is learning how other organizations have used features we have not to solve business issues, and giving a walk-through of how those have worked for them and the lessons learned.
What’s one interesting fact about you?
My wife and I are building our own cabin on an island only accessible by boat and are doing 100 percent of the building ourselves. We have completed our first and hope to complete our second by the end of 2020.
Do you have any children or pets?
I have two boys, 5 and 22 months, who keep us very busy!
Thank you again to this year’s award winners for everything you do for the Quest Oracle Community!
