  RV’s Strategy Spotlight– PeopleSoft Reconnect Dive Deep 2021 was a very successful event with nearly 1,500 attendees.  We really do appreciate how both our customer and partner communities come out in full force to support PeopleSoft-centric conferences such as Reconnect.  This year Quest leveraged a virtual event platform that made it easy for speakers to present deep dive content, network with attendees, and provide for instant playback of every session.  In addition to providing education on currently available functionality, we also announced some newly added roadmap items including: new Kibana Analytics for Position Management, Job, Onboarding, Remote Worker, Vaccinations, and Testing data, fluidizing the Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form, time entry inquiries for PeopleSoft PICASO, support for additional texting capabilities with Recruiting applicants, and much more.  You can see an up-to-date list of all of our planned features and enhancements here.

HCM Image 40 and CRM Image 20 are now available for download.  The HCM image includes new functionality to support tracking remote working, employee wellness for vaccination and testing tracking, fluidized manager self-service for managing schedules in Time & Labor, among many others.  These features and more are shown in the recently published Image 40 highlights video.  CRM Image 20 includes uptake of PeopleTools 8.59 technology as well as new operational Kibana dashboards and analytics for call center agents and agent managers.

I am proud to announce that we have begun Season 2 of the PeopleSoft and Cloud Webinar series.  This season will focus on digging a little deeper in functionality by showing more how-to demos and covering topics attendees have specifically requested.  This series is specifically designed for PeopleSoft customers to learn about Oracle Cloud applications – in a non-sales environment – by interacting with me and Oracle Cloud subject matter experts.  To register for upcoming sessions, or watch previously recorded sessions on demand, click here.

• ELM – The focus group met to review design options for Manager Self Service fluidization.
• Onboarding/Recruiting – We held a joint focus group where we discussed pre-boarding requirements and ideas.  Focus Group provided recommendations for pre-boarding, we are now working on feasibility and design. We will be meeting in early November for out next joint meeting.
• Accessibility with PeopleSoft HCM – The focus group continued discussions of how to handle Display Only and Disabled fields for keyboard and screen reader users as well as accessible reports.  In our next call we will review how screen readers perform with an updated W2 Wage and Statement PDF.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

• United States – 2019 and 2020 FINAL DEADLINE for EEO-1 reporting is October 25, 2021
• United Kingdom – The Government of UK have announced new levy called “Health and Social Care Levy” effective from 6th April 2022.
• United Kingdom – HMRC has published the new template for P60 for year ending 2022. Except for the Tax Year, there are no changes from last year template.
