Presented at INFOCUS Envision 2021
Session Id: 101850
The benefits of Business Intelligence and Analytics historically speaking have been focused on analyzing data from the past. This has been valuable to help provide the pulse of how the enterprise has been performing, but has lacked in the ability to provide decision makers the ability to gain forward looking insights. Advances in technology have now made predictive analytics easily attainable and affordable, and without requiring specialized skill sets within your organization.
This session will discuss the benefits and ease of consolidating all of your data from across the enterprise, including your JDE data, into a low-cost, highly secure, and scalable data lake. From there, we’ll discuss the benefits of leveraging ML services such as Amazon Forecast, the same technologies that the Amazon Marketplace uses for their forecasting and predictive analytics, by ingesting the data from your data lake with just a few clicks without having to have any ML expertise.
Objectives
Discuss concepts and use cases of current analytical concepts and technologies such as serverless architecture, columnar storage, data lakes, AI, ML, and more, and why it is important to businesses today.
Provide an overview of the AWS Suite of Analytics tools, focusing on leveraging JDE data in ML services such as Amazon Forecast
Provide a demonstration of JD Edwards analytics leveraging Amazon Forecast and AWS QuickSight, highlighting actionable dashboards and ML insights.
